PSU’s loss at Iowa (yay, Hawkeyes) was either a good, or a bad thing, depending on your perspective. Given the quality of the Big Ten conference this year, their appearance in a National Championship game would have been wholly undeserved. However, it may have just been the impetus needed to finally bring down the BCS (an issue that I don’t really care about, but I know that many do).
