How did RU’s coaches spend their time during the bye week?
Are all of the coaches going to recruit during the bye this weekend?
“Well, not all of them. You’re only allowed seven on the road. We’re going to jump back and forth. I’m going to some. I don’t know how many – a bunch – but I am going to do some Friday and Saturday, actually.”
Scout.com reports that lineman Oday Aboushi is still favoring Rutgers.
Can anyone follow up on this report about Nassau County College lineman Andrew Tiller receiving an offer?
Miami, North Carolina State and Rutgers have offered Tiller a full ride into Division I even though he has played only two games this year because of a displaced tendon in his right ankle. He is recuperating and will have three years of eligibility at his next stop.
Two years ago, Newsday had more on why Tiller ended up at NCC in the first place.
What’s up with Khalil Wilkes?
“I don’t really have a time frame for things. I’m just going to finish off the year right and then focus on my future. I’m still pretty much open.
“I’ll be thinking about how good my degree will be for me once my football career is over. If football doesn’t work out I’d like to have good plans for other things. I’m also going to look at environment, the coaches and how I like the rest of the guys on the team.”
